KTM 950 Adventure

2006 KTM 950 Adventure

Purchased August 2016 in Pennsylvania from a passionate moto enthusiast, with lots of records, extra parts and service manuals. This is a very well equipped adventure machine. I’ve done a bunch of fun trips on it, but the first one, only a few weeks after purchasing was the biggest. A major 5,000 mile trip from MD, through NE Canada, and back in Sept/Oct 2016, with over 2,000 of those miles being off pavement. It has had the fuel pump failure already, in the middle of the Trans Labrador Hwy, but otherwise has mostly just needed consumables, like brakes, tires, oil, filters, sprockets and chains. The clutch lever developed a leak and the ignition switch went bad, both common issues on these bikes, but both also pretty easy fixes.

Upgrades When Purchased: Renazco Seat, KTM Powerparts Exhaust, Enduro Engineering Hand Guards, Black Dog Skidplate, Oil Relocation Kit, PIAA Lights, Upgraded Water Pump, Throttle Lock, Voltmeter, 12V Outlet, Heated Grips, CJ Designs Clear Clutch Cover, Crash Bars, KTM/Hepco Panniers and Top Box, ITG Intake, High Front Fender, Kickstand Relocated, Tubless Tire/Rim Setup, Auxiliary Blue Sea Fuse Box

My Upgrades: TKC80 Front & Tractionator Rear Tires, Taller Tinted Windscreen, Custom Bamboo Tail Bag Mount, Joby GripTight Pro, Mosko Moto Backcountry 40 Duffle, Mosko Moto Backcountry 35 Panniers, Mosko Moto Tank Bag, MotoLab full Suspension Rebuild

Always on the bike:

Garmin inReach, Dynaplug Tire Repair Kit & 12V Inflator
