DSC_0378MSRP: $159.99 (BUY NOW for LESS!)DSC_0379 DSC_0391The LED Lenser M7R is an amazing little light to have on your next adventure. It is only  6.14″ long and weighs only 7.27oz. The durability (IPX4 certified), intensity (220 lumens) and the adjustable focus are what really make this light special. You can go from full flood to intense spot all with smooth one-handed sliding operation of the front of the light, it even allows you to lock in the desired mode with a twist. The hanging magnetic recharge system, rechargeable through USB or wall outlet, is pretty slick and super easy to use. This little light is loaded with features that set it apart from the competition and make it so much more than just another flashlight. Take the defense strobe mode, which is an amazingly effective defense tool.

I’ve beat the crap out of this light over a number of adventures all across America and Mexico, and it has held up really well. The Maya Rally is where I really put it to the test with over 7,000 miles of adventure all across Mexico in 36 days. The light was always close at hand and helped me find my way more than once. The M7R remains by my side in the Sportsmobile and I’m sure will come with me on many adventures around the globe in the future. Compact, light weight, durable, adjustable beam, rechargeable and bright, everything you need in an adventure light!

Hot Tip: Be sure to keep this light out of sight when going through checkpoints and inspection stations in foreign countries. The M7R was the one thing that continually caught the eye of police and military in Mexico. I was asked for it as a “gift,” “How much does it cost?” and many offers  to “buy” the light, at crazy low prices. My suggestion is to just keep it put away in your luggage during the day. Out of sight, out of mind.DSC_0396
