3/22-24/2013

Another amazing weekend of surf kayaking at the Lane with the surf kayak tribe from all over the world. A huge thanks to all the organizers, ASU & Dennis Judson for keeping this event alive and thriving. Such a special place and gathering point for amazing people. This year offered up amazing weather and small fun waves at the slot, with ocasional middle peak bombs. I surfed well all weekend, but didn’t get the results I was hoping for (17 of 28 in HP & 6 of 14 in IC), as the competition was fierce! This was my first year competing in IC, and I did pretty well considering my first wave in the Murkey Water Sword was in the comp. Big thanks to Murkey Water for the sweet demo. I look forward to catching up with the whole tribe again soon:)

Always a great BBQ at ASU for the opening night party.

Always some amazing photogs at the Lane. Sean & Inga Watson are some of my favorite. This pigeon decided to see what Sean was up to.
