EVENT: OEX 2012- Vehicles

Every class of vehicle that one might consider having an adventure of the off pavement kind was represented at this year’s Overland Expo. I tried hard to capture as many of these amazing vehicles as possible, and think I got most of them. I’m sure there are those sleepers and day pass rigs that snuck by me, but check out the goodness that I did find!

Global Xpedition Vehicle tackling a few sections of the offroad driving course.
The mighty Earth Roamer.
The Turtle Expedition's well sorted F550 based rig.
Mogs are cool! Check out that articulation!!!
Earth Cruiser is a well sorted adventure rig made in Australia.
Sportsmobile's new Fuso based rig comes complete with a porch and can fit in a standard shipping container.
XP Camper is a super high quality flatbed camper rig that can go on any full size truck platform, and soon the Ford E Series Van cutaway platform.
Land Cruisers are such capable and reliable platforms. This is a super clean example.
How about a 4 door jeep with a Hemi under the hood and a roof tent that can sleep 4 adults!
URSA Minor makes this sweet pop-top for the jeeps.
You don't see many Defender 130s on American soil. Very nice truck!
Super rare, and super nice, forward control Land Rover.
New LR4 very well sorted for overlanding.
The nicest Defender 90 I've ever seen. Every cool piece of kit you can think of is on this thing, including a supercharger under the hood.
Anthony, of @OverlandNomads, has this very well sorted Cruiser ready to go around the world.
Expedition Overland has this fully loaded Cruiser based rig that is very well kited out.
FJC Magazine has all the cool toys on thier FJ.
TheOasisOfMySoul.com moto rig. Very well-traveled moto with sidecar for the also well-traveled dog, Spirit.
Dogs seem to like sidecars:)
The mighty Multi Strata. Yes please!
KTM was well represented. This is a BIG bike that can handle anything you throw at it. I hear it also likes to go fast:)
The formidable KLR 650. Such a good value and package for off pavement travel.

You will notice that there are no vans in this post. That is because I love vans, as I live in one, and there where so many that I made a full post for tomorrow just about the Vans at the Expo.
