A quick road trip up the Cali coast, from Shell Beach, CA to Eugene, OR, on our way north to the 2014 NW Overland Rally, and points North, this past Spring. Life is all about new experiences, good friends and adventure. Quality adult beverages, like Ninkasi craft beer, and fresh food to share with friends in amazing locations also helps. Live a “Life of Adventure”!

2014CaliCoastDrive 3 — Fletcher Burton let me enjoy his PWC in the surf zone, and gave me some tows in my surf kayak.

2014CaliCoastDrive 4 — Surf kayak tow ins didn’t go so well, but was a ton of fun to try 🙂

2014CaliCoastDrive 16 — Got a fun surf session in with my buddy Mat Hoff at Moss Landing.

2014CaliCoastDrive 17 — Even got to catch up with adventurer David Croyle for lunch & a beer in the Bay Area.

2014CaliCoastDrive 18 — Enjoyed a tour of the Google campus through Sarah’s friend Alicia. Space Ship One was hanging in the main lobby!

2014CaliCoastDrive 19 — Some of the stuff at Google is just weird, but kinda cool.

2014CaliCoastDrive 20 — Overall the Google Campus is a really nice place to be.

2014CaliCoastDrive 21 — Fun night in Oakland with Sarah’s friend Alicia.

2014CaliCoastDrive 22 — Fun bike ride amongst the redwoods. Who knew Sarah was a tree hugger?

2014CaliCoastDrive 23 — Classic Americana. The EEXP wouldn’t quite fit 😉
