EVENT: Winter OR 2013- Wrap Up

DSC_1230Winter Outdoor Retailer 2013 was a gear junkies wet dream. There was so much outdoor and adventure sports goodness at the show it was really tough to take it all in. I first took you behind the curtain of the All Mountain Demo, then revealed the hottest new Snow Sports Gear, followed by the Survival Tools that might allow you to make it through the Zombie apocalypse and finally all the other Miscellaneous Awesome Gear from the show. Check out the pics below to get a feel for what the show is like to attend and other resources that uncover some of the hot new products that I might have missed.

It’s always cool to win giveaways. This year I was lucky and took home a few goodies. The Braven bluetooth speaker is quite cool!
I also managed to land a DeLorme InReach device and roud trip air to anywhere in the lower 48. VERY stoked!

Happy hours each day at the show can get rowdy. Mountain Khakis was in the running for most fun for sure with thier mechanical bull.

It’s a good thing the EE Sportsmobile is 4×4! Driving a 10,000 van in the snow is terrifying, and oh so awesome:)
