DISCOVERED: Huck VIDEO

June 12, 2012 By Bryon Dorr 8 Comments

“It’s from the experiences that I’ve lived through and the risks that I’ve taken that inspired me to make “Huck”, a film about one of the best paddlers out there today — Evan Garcia…In “Huck”, Evan explores what it means to kayak off of big waterfalls—considering both the risks and rewards of a life driven by freefall.”- Andy Maser (Full Dagger Blog Entry)

Andy Maser has truly refined the craft of storytelling through film, especially when it comes to outdoor adventure pursuits. There are also few athletes out there pushing boundaries of big rapids and big waterfalls like Evan Garcia. Evan has developed kayaking, and specifically waterfall running, skills that only a handfull of paddlers on the planet posess. A great example is the Royal Flush that Evan completed last year. Such commitment to his craft!
